I think it's fine as long as the program is appropriately rated and at an appropriate time. One of my most disturbing 'nudity' things this year was Game of Thrones - seeing a 10(?) year old boy breastfeeding. Probably start a debate right there - but to me that is not suitable viewing!!!! • Wedding Family Dramas

My advice - if you can try to keep it feeling 'even' (big issue with my in-laws as they felt like my family got 'extra' numbers etc.), and try to keep the tables separate. At the end of the day though - everyone needs to respect that the day is for the husband and wife, attendance is an honour not a right (and that's for family as well!) so suck it up and behave!!!! • Age of consent

Oh and will also mention that I think strong parenting and limits are needed. My parents were strict in terms of not allowing me to go to certain parties etc (and I had enough respect that I didn't dare cross them on that) and have no doubt that helped keep me safer. I think it's too easy these days to give in because there's so many kids out there without the strong parenting. Read more about Age of consent

  • Summer or winter

If it had to be one - summer, but I do love those extra wintery days where you just curl up on the couch, fire going, watching a movie and drinking hot chocolate. In saying that I do feel my overall mood improves in summer as you can get out and about more and tend to eat a bit healthier etc. Read more about Summer or winter

  • What do YOU eat for breakast?!

Last post: Quietly opinionated on 21.10.13 at 22:28

I'm a bit like witch one - cornflakes most mornings. I do try and spruce them up with kiwifruit & banana, but not the most exciting option ever! Just easier to eat the same as my son. Might try get into more fruit/yoghurt options now that it's warming up Read more about What do YOU eat for breakast?!

  • Slow Cooker

Last post: Quietly opinionated on 21.10.13 at 22:27

I'm currently really enjoying the patak's slow cooker range - particularly the chicken curry. I've only just started embracing the spice so it's been nice to try some curry's without the hassle of having to buy every spice imaginable to man, throw it in the crock pot and hey presto! My husband has barred me from making casseroles (he really is not a fan!) so I've been trying to find options that aren't so much 'meat stewing' which is the part he's not keen on. Chicken is going well... Read more about Slow Cooker
