The annoying thing is that when you are seeking information often the same results come up over and over.  It would be nice if we could ‘edit’ the results and say stop showing me this page.  Just like Facebook where you can remove content from your activity feed – do the same for search results.

Please Google, Bing, that would make a world of difference (to me and everyone else out there researching).

If there is anyone who doesn't know all the intricacies of searching on Goggle, there is a features page with links to every question you could have regarding making a search and refining the results.

There is a basic search page. Then the advanced search page (http://support.google.com/websearch/bin/answer.py?hl=en&answer=136861&rd=1) shows how to use features such as:
phrase search, single word, search within a specific website, terms you want to exclude, fill in the blanks, 'or' , exceptions

Another page (support.google.com/websearch/bin/answer.py?hl=en&answer=134479#search_results&rd=1) show tips on how to get the best results.

You can also set your own search preferences. See http://support.google.com/websearch/bin/answer.py?hl=en&answer=35892&rd=1

I think anyone who has looked at this information will find that they get great results from Google searches. I am always astounded by how accurate they are by following a few basic guidelines.
