My Dad has model aircraft he made himself years ago, drawing up his own plans and making them out of wood and painting them as replicas. Now the kids are also fascinated in the war planes. We have visited Motat, Omaka and the Classic fighters in Tauranga which they loved. A book on warbirds would be much loved in this house
