You have to hand it to the Belgians - the imagination that they've shown in creating incredible beer is downright astounding. Trappist tripels and Abbey-Style strong ales are interesting enough - wait until you try a lambic or an oud brun. Lambics, Saisons, and Oud Bruns (Oh My)

I've done a very thorough google search, but can't find any of these beers for sale in NZ. They do sound interesting though but I guess we will have to stick to the pretty great selection we do have here. Latest beer I've tried is the Grizzly Beer by Boundary Road (I think it was featured on Chelsey a while back). This is a light beer but with a heavy ginger flavour or maybe better described as more like ginger ale with a taste of beer. The boys all loved it and I was expecting I would too. However, it was just a tiny too bit sweet in the aftertaste for me. I'm looking forward to try the other Boundary Road speciality beers. Great to see Kiwis experimenting like this!
