The featured cocktails invariably get lots of oohs, ahhs and the "yummy" comment, but I'm wondering if people actually ever get around to trying them as there has never been any feedback that I can recall? Has anyone got their bottles and fancy glassware out and made any of these tantalising cocktails since they featured? If so, what did you think of them? Did they measurer up to expectations?

We have been drinking Frappe Vino (Wine Cocktails) this last week http://www.frappevino.co.nz/ (a bottle of wine, a bottle of water, the cocktail mix & freeze)

Looks yummy! I'd love to try that too!

Ooo! Thanks Rosie. I haven't seen that before. That looks really refreshing and fun. Do you know if you can buy the mix anywhere other than from the website?

#8

I'm not sure. You could ask them on their facebook page? http://www.facebook.com/frappevinonz?sk=wall

Thanks Rosie. I'd love to hear what you think of the "Frappo Vino" first. I guess the flavour would depend quite a bit on the type of wine used. Looking at the picures reminds me of snow cones at one end of the scale and a sophisticated Granita at the other!

i tried some of that at the food and wine show a few months back.. it was delicious.. and the good thing is she said that you could use like real cheap wine and its still yum!!

My mind pictures it a bit like frozen mulled wine - slightly sweet and spicy. How would you describe the taste?
