Discussing :: Healthy snacks


What awesome ideas, great inspiration as I am starting to try eat healthier coming into summer. Being a new mum and b/feeding for the first time its a little challenging to know how much extra I really do need to eat and how much is just bad habbit


Tasty crackers


Go with wheat crackers and homemade relish - so yummy


I find a packet of nuts on hand is a great way of beating the munchies. A palm-full is a serve.


Unsalted peanuts and raw carrots are great to snack on. Also unsweetened popcorn.

Popcorn is a great snack, not with loads of butter or cup fulls of icing sugar over the top (although nice, not very healthy) but popcorn on it's own, Yummy! Also love the carrot, celery and cucumber sticks.


I love apples and find them really filling - also carrots because they are great to fit in your handbag. I eat them as I walk around town and saw another lady doing it the other day so wasn't the only bugs bunny around!


Carrot sticks, nice and cold from the fridge are my "go to" healthy snack!!


Bananas are good as they full you up for a wee while. Also Rice Crackers and tuna good healthy lunch.
