Live concerts memoirs.

We are lucky when we have 'Live Concerts' from such well known artists. Can you recall some of your favourites?
Ice House, Elton John, Tina Turner, Back street boys, etc

Not well known by any means but seeing Low at the Kings Arms a couple of years ago was such a mindblow. Almost at the front, we had a close and clear view of them and the audience rapport was just fantastic. A great, moody unforgettable night.

Wow I've seen so many over the years - particularly memorable ones include Bob Marley, Stevie Ray Vaughan and Bob Dylan/Tom Petty - but the best concerts ever were by 2 not so well known bands - The Angels and Dr Feelgood. I caught both these bands more than once during the 80s and early 90s and they never failed to deliver!

Years ago I went to see Mick Jagger at Western Springs, with the opening act being Ardijah
I went by myself and I had a ball, it was actually held on Guy Fawkes so being in that stadium had the best light show ever.
People thought I was mental going alone, but I ticked off at least one thing from my 'bucket' list and it was absolute magic.
As for Mick his energy was electric.

Don't get to go out to concerts much with a toddler but i have heard that Coldplay put on a bloody good performance. Hope to go to one of theirs one day.

love a great live concert.
some of my favs I have been to include.
leanord cohen
the bee gees
the rolling stone
dave dobbyn
hunters and collectors
iron maiden
counting crows

U2 and Madonna were both amazing but my favourite would be Bon Jovi (who also had Billy idol as lead in act). They were AMAZING live - saw them at Milton Keynes in London so incredible!!

My favourite was seeing Fleetwood Mac in Sydney. Amazing. And I was 6 months pregnant with my daughter at the time - she loved it too (was dancing away in there lol). They are just the most classic band, and Mick Fleetwoods expressions when drumming are just precious.

Absolutely! Fleetwood Mac in the rain in New Plymouth - amazing experience and we didn't care that we were drenched! Crowded house are a really good live band too - Neil Finn is really good with the crowd and everyone sings along.

Sir Elton John, Cher, Bette Midler, Elaine Paige are my favs.
