New Zealand Boutique Wine Festival

Little New Zealand… tucked away at the bottom of the world, somewhere in the South Pacific. Small it might be, but our wine culture is one of the most recognized globally. Our vineyards dot the country from North to South and everywhere in between. We export wines to destinations as exotic as our blend varieties and nothing rounds up a day like heavenly drop of a Central Otago Pinot Noir.

To celebrate our rich history of wine production, the inaugural New Zealand Boutique Wine Festival will be held on Sunday, 16th June down at the Imperial Building in Fort Lane. The event will be hosted by John Hawskbey, and 24 stunning boutique vineyards from around the country will be showcasing over 200 wines. This is sure to be one of the most unique cellar door experiences in this country’s wine history.

What will surely make this event a regular addition to your annual calendar is the carefully selected group of vineyards. The main issue with boutique producers is they produce in small quantities every season, and whilst they are available for purchase, it’s generally hard to get your hands on some of their signature creations as they’re packed up for export pretty quickly.

So make sure you check out all the details below and head along to this unique wine event. If you’re a connoisseur, a lover or a curious partaker, come revel in the atmosphere and learn a thing or two about something magical little NZ does oh so well….
