Cafè Amoreè Amore - Hot Cocktail Recipe


1/3 Shot Cognac

1/3 Shot amaretto

Black coffee

Whipped cream

Shaved almonds for garnish

Pour the Cognac and amaretto into an Irish coffee glass, fill with hot coffee top with whipped cream and finally garnish with shaved almonds.

    This would work really well as a dessert if you added a bit of gelatine to the hot coffee (and maybe a spoon of sugar too) and let it set. Yummmm!

    In the picture the coffee looks white, but the recipe calls for black - is this a Michael Jackson coffee? Or has the cream just melted into the coffee?!

    This looks soooo yum! The more cream, the better. I like the idea of a shot of coffee with plain ice cream, whipped cream and alcohol. What a fantastic mix ;)

    OMG what a heavenly after-dinner sweet! I'd probably substitute amaretto for baileys or kahlua as always have some on hand
