A good recipe to remembeer with summer barbecues just around the corner. Remember to soak wooden skewers for a couple of hours first so they don't catch fire.

And make sure you add something fresh and fruit/veggie-like to make more healthy, dates figs and prunes are all good.

These look great, very healthy. I would probably want to make them a bit more colourful though, maybe with some red peppers or red onions

These look delicious but I agree with witchypoo that making them more colourful would be a good step. Good idea, witchypoo!

Such a yummy and easy recipe, just an idea, if you want to have more flavor, marinade the chicken the night before so the flavor really gets time to infuse into the chicken, so simple but really makes a difference. Cant wait for our next BBQ night, yum!

And perfect to quickly cook up, pop into a container and head off to the park on a warm summers evening for a picnic dinner. We do this often in summer and our dinner choices are similar to this recipe above - with a pasta salad and watermelon slices it's all we need. And work it all off kicking a ball around afterwards. Gotta love summer!

Can't wait to try out this tasty chicken shish kabobs recipe on the bbq once daylight savings kicks in. Would make a nice change from sausages and I'm sure the kids would love them too. :)
