If it's movies at a cinema I guess the first few I saw which I have fond memories include Star Wars, Battlestar Galactica and Back to the Future 1. Fav movies from overall childhood would include the Layrinth, Neverending Story 1, Willow, The Navigator and The Princess Bride.

If it's movies in general my earliest enjoyable memories were Sunday nights in front of the tv watching the Sunday Disney family movie with my family... it was special dinner in front of the tv with special snacks for afters. I don't remember any of the movies, but I remember the family time and making the special dinners and enjoying family time. Read more about Childhood movies

  • How to say No without losing friendships

Last post: Karen on 26.03.12 at 14:30 | Started by Jens on 15.03.12

It is sometimes hard to say no, especially if your friends know you well enough to know you will help out anyway. Sometimes you have to draw a line and say no and mean it, so others in your social or family group have the opportunity to step up to help out. I don't have a lot of money so I now chose carefully who I'm donating money to, so that it's not willy nilly pocket change donations and so I know it's going to the right causes to make a difference. It's a bit of willpower, with some selfishness thrown in because you can't do everything for everyone all of the time... or you spread yourself too thin and spend all your time and money on others... sometimes you do need some "me time/money". Gosh, that list definitely gives food for thought. I've been exploring my local spice and asian markets and finding all sorts of beans which I've been trying out. Sprouting is a cheap and easy way to get loads of vege goodness for very little effort. I've been trying different sorts to make up mini salads which are super fresh. The Ayurda Pitta Balancing facial would be bliss. Life has been hectic lately and being able to have the time and money to pamper myself has been at the very bottom of the bills list. This would be a total treat for me. Read more about Win a 24 Carat Gold Facial!

Good advice about the laptop and digital gear. I hadn't heard about any problems with those from friends but I can see how it might appear to customs depending on the country you are going to or from. Read more about What NOT to take
