What's not to love - so many wonderful features that the designers have obvously put a lot of thought into. Shaving is such a pain and with this you have NO pain (or nicks, cuts, etc), it's quick and easy (the idea of the light to make the hairs easier to see is great), and not just hairless skin but really smooth skin from the skin refinement brush and the facial cleansing feature. I'd love to win one - I'd be a new me!! :) Read more about Win 1 of 2 Silk Epil 7’s courtesy of Farmers & Braun

  • Apple cider vinegar?

Last post: Sue on 28.07.14 at 15:52 | Started by StillMe on 15.07.14

I enjoy the taste of ACV but usually watered down and with a bit of honey - if you drink it with manuka honey (the really good 10+UMF stuff), you're getting a double whammy of goodness. Also excellent for your pets (and even horses - mine enjoys it mixed in with her feed). Read more about Apple cider vinegar?

  • Chocolate

I recently tried some Energy chocolate after not having had any for probably several years. WHAT a let-down. It was nothing like the energy chocolate I remembered (lovely and dark, with a slight "bitter" taste to it). I'm almost afraid to try the Old Gold Peppermint in case it's a let-down too. I love dark chocolate and am sure that practically every cadbury flavour would be improved by being in dark chocolate. Maybe I need to chuck in my job and become a chocolatier ;) Read more about Chocolate

  • Denim - an undying fashion.

I think denim is always going to be in fashion as a material, but styles will always come and go and various styles of denim clothes can go out of fashion just like anything else. I'm very much an older person and I'm careful about what I buy in denim as I agree with StillMe that not everything will suit everyone.

It's a pity people get so hung up on the smell of garlic. I love the taste and the health benefits are just too many to not make use of it (including for my horse). Yes, definitely more pros than cons.

  • Elderflower drinks

Last post: Sue on 10.02.14 at 13:42 | Started by Sue on 10.02.14

I've been reading about the Addmore Sparkling Elderflower drinks and they sound an excellent alternative to alcoholic drinks (even mild ones like cider). I'm especially taken with the idea of the Sparkling Ginger White Tea & Elderflower which they say combines the unique elderflower flavour with organic ginger and a rare, full flavoured white tea (bai mu dan). Having only recently come across white tea (which is said to have more antioxidants than green or black), I'd really like to give this one a go. Has anyone tried these products?
