In the bedroom, timing is everything. But the synchronised orgasm is an elusive event that many couples struggle to achieve.  Here are some of Sexgear.co.nz staff members highly recommended tips for finishing as a team.

Exercise first

Crossed fingers III

Your pelvic floor muscles are your greatest ally in achieving synchronised orgasm. Having strong PC muscles means you’ll have greater speed control, allowing you to slow things down when you need to keep pace.  Contract these muscles 10 times, holding for five seconds at a time. For extra help, trying using a set of duo-balls.  Do it now and you’ll be done before the end of this article.

Foreplay first

To be honest, this is more for your benefit than for his. Like stoking a fire, the female orgasm takes some time to ignite. Encourage him to take his time before the main event. Ten minutes of kissing, touching and massaging beforehand gives you a head start that you won’t regret later.

Commentate

Make sure you let each other know where you are at. If he tells you he’s close and you’re miles away let him know to slow down. The best thing to do to close the gap is to have him pull out and focus his attention back on you.

The end rocks

At the moment that you feel like you’re both approaching the finish line, slow your movement right down and rock together.  This motion and pace will allow you to experience the full orgasm, not missing the subtleties of pleasure that are often disguised by rapid thrusting.
