Boohoo Summer Fashion

Boohoo have released their four main trends for summer, revealing this season's darker side. I had the chance to have a sneak peek! From bright neons and floral patterns, to studded jewellery and glittering sequins, this season is glamourous, fun, and sexy. I'm loving the studs and spikes appearing on many of the items - it might be a bit dark for summer, but this touch of punk really makes each piece unique. But the best thing about these trends is the ability to mix and match between them. Chelsey's favourites: pair Boohoo's 90's Hyperculture trend with spike and stud jewellery from the Metallic trend to create an edgier look.

Prices on apparel range between $20 - $85 – Accessories and footwear from $15-$85

The below range is all available tomorrow, Wednesday 17th October, at

Taking inspiration from the street styles of the world, the Hyperculture collection from boohoo is a melting pot of colour, texture and pattern. The trend nods to the 90’s; everything and anything goes, from staggered pastels to neon and black. Layer up, Hyperculture embodies elements from tribes and styles from all around the world.

Heavy sequins, intricate beading and a luxurious palette of bronze, copper and gold make up the Metallic collection from boohoo. Influenced by the recent sportswear revival, updated silhouettes in the range include quilted pencil skirts, raglan sleeve box tees and iridescent sweat tops , with an obvious nod to the luxe glam workout era of the 1980’s included. The collection is given a tough edge with studded accessories and spike jewellery.

Jewel tones, a cascade of sequins and embellishment—boohoo’s Jewellery Box collection is the ultimate in after-hours glamour. Key notes for the season include net skirt prom dresses, high shine shorts and leggings, and jewelled adornments, plus updated takes on wardrobe classics such as the bomber jacket and peplum evening gown.

The feminine silhouette of 1950’s New York continues to be an influence this Spring, and boohoo’s Manhattan Lady translates the trend for today’s girl. Dreamy pastel tones and full bloom florals are paired with classic tailoring to create a soft, feminine look. A-line skirts, Peter Pan collars and shrunken knits for the summer season are layered under knee length jackets that come styled perched on the shoulders. It’s clean, it’s ladylike and it’s so Upper East Side!
