    250 grams of wheat flour
    1/2 cup of warm water
    1 egg, whisked
    1 tablespoon of olive oil
    1 teaspoon of wine vinegar
    pinch of salt

5 apples, peeled, cores cut out, sliced
100 grams of raisins, poured with hot water and drained

Roll up and seal ends.

Smear with butter.

Bake in preheated oven about 30 minutes, in 180 C degrees.

Serve warm with whipped cream and almond flakes.

MY LORD!!!!! How utterly scumptious this looks - it looks even more enticing on that gorgeous gold plate. I know exactly what i'm making for pudding tonight - might even try and pick up a gold plate on the way home to get the full effect. Thanks Chelsey for inspiring me to get in touch with my domestic goddess

I remember the first and only time I ever made an apple strudel from scratch. It was nothing short of a complete disaster.

But I think I shall try again, using this recipe. It looks and sounds delicious!

yummmmmmm! this looks delicious..whats so great about it is that it has cooked apples in it (obviously), but my boyfriend refuses to eat cooked fruit! so more for me! Thankyou for providing a dough recipe...homemade dough is SO MUCH better than buying premade from the supermarket. Might swap some cranberries or dates instead of saltanas though? This recipe is great for when it looks like the apples in your fruit bowl look a little bit worse for wear!
