I used to get really bad migraines when I had my hair long past my bum and because it was so thick and curly it took ages to dry as I never used a hair dryer on it nor hair straighter ...now days it's short and do I miss my long hair...sometimes yes but most times nah...too much work to keep it healthy.

For some reason, I never really clicked until recently that the sun can not only damage your skin, but your hair as well. Ive started using a sun protectant spray on my hair and ive really noticed a difference.

Great article, I love long hair and mine is slowing growing back after a BIG chop last year to get rid of all the damaged hair (there was heaps!).

I had long lovely hair... Then when I was pregnant it got really thick and wiry, and became a law unto itself! (Bloody hormones!)
So I chopped it all off. I am now in the painful process of growing it long again. I agree with the article in that frequent trims are a must!

Thanks for the article, I'm now going to be saving a lot of money on hair products, I've tried almost every product for my dry frizzy hair, now all I'm going to do is cut and condition more frequently, currently I cut my hair every 6 months, and it makes so much sense to do it more often, will how this goes for me
