Healthy breakfast foods are very important to start your day off right. Yes, I know that the box of sugary cereal might look tempting in the mornings, but it is not worth it! Eating a poor breakfast will leave you hungry later in the morning, because your body will not be getting the nutrition that it needs. One of the best breakfast foods is oatmeal. Healthy Breakfast Foods

I would never of thought of Oatmeal as being one of the best breakfast foods, will definitely try this - and try not to put on the golden syrup and brown sugar ;)


you could try manuka honey as a healthier yummy alternative to the brown sugar?



Oatmeal porridge & banana with yoghurt = a wholesome meal



I have had this the last two mornings and really enjoying it! I think this is definitely something I can stick too :)



It is great in winter! Don't think I'd feel like it on a summer morning though!



I don't like porridge, but my partner does. So in the mornings, he has blueberries yoghurt and porridge- and I have the same but with muesli.
In the winter when blueberries are out of season we use frozen, thawed in the microwave which means they are nice and warm, great for cold weather. And when they are in season, fresh and straight out of the fridge!



I am not a fan of porridge! - my boyfriend is though! I like to stick to a bowl of cornflakes or two pieces of toast with marmite/vegemite on it. Keeping it simple is the way ;). I understand the importance of breakfast and I try my BEST to eat at least something in the morning


There's two of us with porridge eating men then Bernadette! Just checking, I think porridge is the same as oatmeal - I think oatmeal is the american word? Does everyone else agree?



Have just started eating healthy like this and am loving it.. I feel great!!



Have always stuck to tuna on toast so need to switch it up. Oatmeal sounds like a nice change, cant really picture it without brown sugar though



is oatmeal like porrage?? do you have it hot?? how do you make it??



I love oatmeal, but no brown sugar? Can it be done???
