A Woman’s Place; Good Wives and Happy Husbands by Redmer Yska is an adorable looking little volume that promises to be full of cliché and sexist, demeaning mantras, and it is. I’ve now read this book twice. The first time I sat down with a girlfriend over several glasses of wine and we took turns reading paragraphs to each other while trying not to let our snorts of laughter and hysterical giggles wake her husband.
