How often does everyone attend music concerts?
What have been your most/least enjoyable experiences?

I went to The Dresden Dolls concert here in Christchurch last night (I was lucky enough to win a ticket) and it was amazing. The opening act by The Daredevil Chicken Club made me want to gag and laugh at the same time and also glad I wasn't in the middle row (I'm not very keen on having banana spat at me :/ ). Local musicians Hera and House on Mountain were brilliant, I bought Hera's CD during intermission. And when The Dresden Dolls came on stage, they really brought the house down with their fantastic performance. I couldn't help but sing along to "Coin-Operated Boy" and get up and dance to the music. :D

Best concert was Gin Wigmore! Off to see Ronan Keating and meet him this friday so that should be interesting. Go when ever something good is on.....a few times a year!

I am rather annoyed. One of my favourite musicians, Voltaire, is performing in Christchurch on the day I travel to Wellington, and performing in Wellington on the night I fly back to Christchurch. Can't change my travel plans to make it to either gig.

*headdesk* I can only hope he does a random ninja gig that I can get to in-between.

I'd love to see Gin Wigmore (so would my 6 year old, but that's a whole another matter!)
I haven't been to a concert for a year or two. The last one was Opshop & the band that played first (what's it called) was just amazing! They were The Earlybirds. I was disappointed by OpShop cause they played songs only from their new album that I hadn't heard yet.
