We've had LOTR etc, then there is time-out waiting for something new... pity, after all this country offers grand scenery & hope.
Can you list NZ made movies?
Utu. Goodbye Porkpie, etc

The Piano was a stunning movie, totally loved Boy and want to see the vampire movie by Taita Waititi. We don't just have stunning scenery...we also have amazing talent.

Agree with What We Do In The Shadows. I don't think this movie has had enough acclaim yet. But I predict it will become a classic NZ movie when it comes out in dvd form. So so funny, one of the best mockumentaries EVER!!

Got tickets to go see Dark Horse, looking forward to seeing that. Avatar was made here wasn't it, well some of it I think.

How to Meet Girls from a Distance was a home-grown movie, shot entirely in Wellington, and was terrific.
