Another fantastic Twilight evening is here! The Barfoot & Thompson Twilight Summer Series races at Ellerslie on Wednesday February 13th!  

Six fast-paced races, non-stop action on and off the track all topped off with an unbelievable party.


This action-packed evening, with only 30 minutes between each of the races, music to keep the temperatures rising and the famous Birdcage Bash after the last race means you’ll be living it up 'til the sun goes down! What better reason to leave work early and dress up for the races!

 - Racecourse gates open at 3.30pm

 - First race will run at about 4.30pm (race times will be confirmed week prior to event)

 - Last race will run at about 7.35pm

 - Then party 'til late at the Birdcage Bash in Cuvée with NZDJ Kieran Bell!

    WESTERLY — A Westerly High School freshman hustled for months to land an exclusive interview this week with Major League Baseball’s head honcho — and the 14-year-old didn’t throw him softball questions.

    Andrew Fiore’s phone interview Monday with MLB Commissioner Rob Manfred took less than 15 minutes, but Fiore was well-prepared and got Manfred to open up on atlanta braves jersers a wide range of topics relating to the American pastime.
