Figure-friendly recipes that prove you don’t have to starve yourself to be slim

Imagine a diet where nothing is banned and you don’t have to eat any faddy foods, one that tosses out rabbit food in favour of proper, hearty home-cooked dishes. Nadia Sawalha’s Greedy Girl’s Diet is exactly that. This book offers delicious, guilt-free recipes for breakfast, lunch, dinner, and pudding, providing real women with the answer to a happier, healthier, slimmer body.

Like many of us, Nadia, who has always loved to cook, seldom indulged in her own food. For 30 years, her weight fluctuated as she yo-yo dieted and counted calories. Finally, she decided enough was enough – she wanted to eat normal meals with her family. Since that turning point, Nadia has lost, not only her diet books, but has also kept off 3½ stone. How? By sneakily shaving off calories here and there so that nobody could tell the difference.

The Greedy Girl’s Diet is Nadia’s answer to no longer feeling guilty about food. This attractive, fun, and colourful cookbook is a collection of her favourite figure-friendly dishes. Recipes include pancakes, spaghetti bolognaise, burgers, curries, fish and chips, lime and chocolate cheesecake, and even chocolate brownies, all presented with a healthy twist. In addition to the quick, easy-to-follow recipes, Nadia keeps things relaxed and personal sharing anecdotes, common sense ideas, and tips for reducing calories and controlling your appetite.

Whether you want to reduce your waistline or keep the family healthy, the Greedy Girl’s Diet is a step in the right direction. Designed by a dedicated “foodie,” this book offers a (healthy) touch of delicious, indulgence to any meal.

Nadia Sawalha grew to fame as Annie Palmer on the BBC soap opera Eastenders. In 2007 she won the BBC’s Celebrity MasterChef, and she now hosts Junior MasterChef.

Not so sure I like the title of the book though - do us food lovers really want to be labelled as greedy?!

Again, this plate will be at the back of the finished pendant, lying against the skin. I learned early to leave little “handles” on the metal to hang onto when you make something, the different pieces can be small and it makes them easier to hang onto during the process. You then cut them off when you’re finished. I then work my way up from the back to the top or under bezel on this piece. Next up is making the prongs. I decided to make them in platinum because I can go a little thinner on the diameter. transfer money abroad
