Holiday Pecan Pie

For a lunchtime meal that’s a real treat, then this Holiday Pecan Pie is wonderful! It’s very easy to make, and will be a firm family favourite within minutes. Make sure you make enough for seconds!


4 Eggs

1 cup Dark Corn Syrup

pinch of Salt

1/3 cup Sugar

1 tablespoon Lemon Juice or Vinegar

4 tablespoons melted Butter

2 teaspoons Vanilla

2/3 cup Pecan Halves

1 Unbaked Pie Shell

- Preheat oven to 200 C.

- Carefully crack eggs In a medium bowl, slightly beat eggs with fork.

- Add corn syrup, salt, sugar, lemon juice or vinegar, butter, vanilla and mix well.

- Stir in pecan halves.

- Pour pecan pie mixture into an unbaked pie shell.

- Bake 35-40 minutes.
