Bananas are so often left out when it comes to making desserts, but they’re sweet, delicious and extremely versatile. This great recipe for Toffee Bananas will soon go down as a firm family favourite, and you won’t be able to get enough of them!
2 bananas, halved lengthways
2 to 3 tablespoons butter
2 to 3 tablespoons dark brown soft sugar

- In a small frying pan, melt butter over medium heat
- Add sugar and stir until dissolved
- Add bananas and cook for 2 minutes, then turn over and cook for another 2 minutes until caramelised and soft.
- Serve immediately
