Baked veal with mushroom

A dish that never fails to impress even the harshest of critic on taste, texture and look is this delicious Baked Veal with Mushrooms. It’s indulgent and decadent, and is the perfect dinner if you want to make a fantastic impression!



1 kilo boneless veal shoulder, cut into 1-inch cubes

1/2 cup red wine

2 tablespoons white vinegar

1/4 cup chopped onion

1 large clove garlic, minced

1 teaspoon dried oregano, crumbled

1/4 cup olive oil

1/4 cup butter

Salt to taste

1 to 1 ½ cup mushrooms, sliced

- In a small mixing bowl, combine wine, vinegar, onion, garlic, oregano and olive oil.

- Pour over meat.

- Cover and marinate veal and refrigerate for at least 4 hours or overnight.

- Place veal in a shallow baking dish and pour marinade over and top with sliced mushrooms.

- Cover with foil and bake at 176°C until meat is tender.
