Cherry Berry Slush

If you want to make something nice and cooling on a hot summer’s day, then give this Cherry Berry Slush a try. It’ll quench your thirst and it’s hugely refreshing, and it’s dead quick and easy to make too!


1  pkg. frozen red raspberries or 1 1/2 cup fresh raspberries, thawed

1 cup frozen unsweetened pitted dark sweet cherries or 2 cups fresh pitted dark sweet cherries

1 can frozen apple juice concentrate, thawed

1 bottle lemon-lime carbonated, chilled

- Thaw frozen fruit (do not drain).

- Place berries in blender container (cover), blend until smooth

- strain and discard seeds

- transfer strained berries to medium mixing bowl

- put cherries in blender

- add apple juice concentrate and cover and blend until smooth.

- Add to berries in bowl

- transfer to freezer container

- freeze overnight or up to 2 months.

- For each 10 ounce serving, spoon 3/4 cup mixture into 10 ounce tumbler

- slowly add carbonated beverage

- stir gently

- garnish with lime slice if desired.
