Today's I Love Nut's recipe: Swiss (Bircher) Muesli. Fresh tasting and satisfying, it disappears fast at any time of day.
For 2 small or 1 large serving:
2-3 Tbsp Alison’s Pantry Whole Dessert Almonds, chopped
¼ cup Alison’s Pantry Sultanas, chopped
¼ cup Alison’s Pantry Instant Oats
½ cup (150g pottle) low- fat fruit-flavoured yoghurt
½ red skinned apple
- Finely chop the almonds (by hand or machine). Chop sultanas and add to almonds. Stir in rolled oats and yoghurt. Quarter the apple, removing the core, then grate or finely chop and mix the apple through everything else.
- Refrigerate up to 24 hours. Eat for breakfast or pack in tight-lidded containers for healthy and delicious lunches.
